More day 5

This cat makes the sign funny.
Armies of tour groups. Long lines bring the worst out in people!

Day 5 - Istanbul - Old Town

Today - more ass was kicked.
We started with Hagia Sophia

And then the Topkapi Palace
A successful search for a phone charger
And finally a very refreshing beer and a good view.

End of Day. 4 - The Blue Mosque

Really breathtaking - Photos don't do it justice.

Merhaba, Kedi!

We're in Istanbul (Day 4)

Mike relaxing in our adorable Hotel room. Off to the Blue Mosque!

This one is for M and Ian

Cinque, Cinque!

Day 3 - All things lead to Marco (a story for when we return)

We kicked Rome's ass yesterday - Or it might've kicked ours.
First we got a little poetic - visiting the cemetery where Keats and Shelley are buried. Keats isn't marked.
Then we went to the Testaccio Market for a look around and an espresso (and a sandwich).

Then we walked across town to see the Villa Farensina

And finally stopped for lunch. Speaking of asses - We're literally walking ours off except for this...
After lunch we went to Palentine Hill and the Roman Forum.
After a brief rest we went on our favorite walk from Campo d'Fiori to the Spanish Steps - stopping at Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. We selfie-d ourselves like crazy.
Friday it's on to Istanbul!
We still had a million things we didn't get to here - So we'll be back!
